The accommodation tax went into effect on January 1, 2017. The tax is applied to the per-person, per-night rate as follows. [Rates of less than 7,000 yen]: No tax / [Rates of 7,000 yen to less than 15,000 yen]: 100 yen / [Rates of 15,000 yen to less than 20,000 yen]: 200 yen / [Rates of 20,000 yen or more]: 300 yen 　* Rate prices do not include consumption tax.
